• Nancy Economou

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Nancy established the organization in 2012 after a trip to the Philippines. During her visit, she witnessed the urgent need for safe and sustainable lighting, especially for vulnerable families.

    Nancy, a mother of five boys, was motivated to empower these families and break the cycle of poverty. Her dedication is to provide light and compassion to the most underprivileged communities globally.

    Before founding Watts of Love, Nancy worked at Cartier Jewelers in Chicago, specializing in high-end jewelry. She is a passionate advocate for uplifting families from poverty on a global scale.

  • Kevin Kuster

    FOUNDING MEMBER & BOARD MEMBER

    Kevin is a seasoned professional in photography and directing. He has over two decades of experience in creating and editing imaginative content for numerous prestigious clients.

    Additionally, Kevin oversees the largest photography community on Instagram, with 543,000 followers. Before joining Watts of Love, he held the role of Director of Content and Senior Photo Editor at a prominent national magazine.

  • Mary Kay Kaufmann

    CHAIRMAN

    Mary Kay is a retired executive with 34 years of experience at Nalco, an Ecolab Company. She has held various leadership positions, including Chief Marketing Officer and Division President of the Water Business. Currently, she works as a part-time consultant and serves as a director on several for-profit boards.

    Mary Kay previously served on the board of Naperville United Way and was a board member of Water for People, a global nonprofit that provides safe drinking water and toilets in low-income countries, for nine years, including serving as Chair.

    She served on the ETTAC committee to the US Department of Commerce on fair trade issues and is an active volunteer in her local community.

  • Mike Allen

    Mike is a co-founder of Axios, media company delivering news and insights on politics, business, media, and tech, and is the former chief political reporter for Politico. He is the author of the daily Axios AM and Axios PM newsletters and is a published author with his book: Smart Brevity: Saying More with Less. Mike has been a supporter of Watts for many years.

  • Audrey Elisha

    Audrey is Global Sales Manager at ADP, with extensive experience in IT services, telecommunications, and outsourcing. Her 15 years at Verizon culminated in her role as Area Vice President.

    Audrey also led Client Sales Directors at Bright Horizons, delivering family solutions to corporations, universities, and health systems.

  • Dr. Maria Hey

    Dr. Maria is a semi-retired veterinarian and former small animal practice owner. She co-founded the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas.

    With more than 25 years of nonprofit experience, she has traveled globally with Watts of Love, contributing as a photographer and fundraiser, while continuing her work in veterinary services.

  • Matt Howard

    Matt is an Audit Managing Director at Deloitte with over 25 years of experience serving some of Deloitte’s most prominent domestic and international clients. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Matt dedicated five years of his career to enhancing audit quality initiatives in Deloitte’s National Office.

    Matt is also active in community involvement having previously served as the Chairman of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley.

  • Terry Mahoney

    Terry is cofounder and partner of Capra Consulting in Chicago. He is an expert in IT and business process optimization. He started in IT with Amoco/BP and then BP outsourced their IT and business process expertise to the consulting business Terry cofounded. He is recently retired. He has his BS in computer science and math from Loyola University- Chicago and his MBA from University of Chicago

  • Dale Mancuso

    Dale is Senior Vice President at Citi, specializing in providing financial solutions to SMEs and middle market clients. With 30+ years of banking experience, he previously led Citi’s Midwest Emerging Corporates team and PNC’s Franchise Banking.

    Dale actively serves on nonprofit boards, including the DuPage Children’s Museum.

  • Candice Mishkin

    Candice has over 15 years of global NGO management experience, specializing in grant writing and crisis relief.

    She's established a mission base in Micronesia for Iris Global and directed a 501(c)(3) prison ministry focused on raising vulnerable women out of poverty.

    Candice applies her Ministry and Counseling degree to aid victims of sex trafficking and women in distress.

  • Scott Morehouse

    Scott is a partner in the Orange County, CA office of Shepherd Mullins law firm specializing in real estate, energy, land use and environmental practices. He has been a supporter of Watts of Love for years and done pro bono work regarding our bylaws, intellectual property discussions with Molex, and several employment law issues. He has been on the Board of several Christian, nonprofit startups and real estate trade groups. He is married for 32 years to his wife Doreen and has four children.

  • Doug Roselieb

    Doug is a founding partner of Wells Roselieb & Raia Wealth Management, with over 30 years of expertise in retirement, investment, and financial planning. He primarily serves retired individuals but also advises pensions, charitable foundations, and trusts.

    Born and raised in Downers Grove, Doug and his wife Cindi, along with their 4 children, still live there and are actively involved in the community.

  • Brian Walsh

    Brian, with 25 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and FinTech, is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Catholic University’s Bush School of Business. He founded Faith Direct, the leading eGiving platform for Catholic parishes, and TipYo, an electronic tipping app.

    Brian serves on Catholic University’s board and volunteers for Prison Ministry.
